Malaysian Film: Muallaf (2009)

The Synopsis of Muallaf film that may helps you to judge this movie.

Yes, it is the film that invites a lot of controversy since the process of making another. From the controversy over the bolding Sharifah Amani head for this movie until the controversy over the film abandoned the Film Censorship Board (LPF) of Malaysia for alleged Yasmin Ahmad refused to comply with the direction of the LPF to cut some important action that could cause religious sensitivities in this country.
Convert movie, which is the fifth film by Yasmin Ahmad, aired in Malaysia a year later than shows in Singapore. Even the film shooting after undergoing Talentime, Muallaf already entered the stage in Malaysia first.
Sharifah Amani & Sharifah Aleysha
This film brings the messages of religious and moral values in life. Usually when you touch the religious thing, the work became very heavy. The same with this film. Viewers must think to really understand what is trying to reach Yasmin Ahmad Through this film. In addition some of the dialogue in the filter makes the audience a bit difficult to understand what is trying to reach. Maybe some of the pieces actions.
The film tells of two sisters who, Spiritual, and Rohan (played by Sharifah Amani & Sharifah Aleysha) the death of Ma tried to "save themselves" from their Papa. They tried to escape to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur via Ipoh. Rohana a quiet, behave as they prefer to mention a bit odd combination of numbers that raises a question mark on others. Another main character, Brian (played by Brian Yap) is a Brian Yap, Sharifah Amani & Sharifah Aleysha - by Yasmin converts who came from a very strong family faith on Christian doctrine. Brian tried to distance itself from religion because they experienced a very embarrassing incident when a black little in the name of religion.
Do not have a misunderstanding. This film has nothing to do and not on those who had embraced Islam or call Convert common. The duration of this movie is 1 hour 33 minutes and warned me, the plot of the movie is a bit slow!
